New Style Ford Fiesta Zetec
You will be training in the New style Fiesta Zetec. I had been following all details of this car for 2 years since its launch as a concept car. Although slightly smaller than the Focus it promised to deliver everything that was brilliant about the Focus and more. And it does deliver! I was the first instructor in the area to train in the new fiesta and now there is quite a family building up. It just goes to prove how popular the car is for training purposes.
The fiesta is large enough to accomodate the tallest of people but not so big as to intimidate the smallest of beginners. If you feel comfortable and have confidence in your vehicle you will feel much more relaxed. And a relaxed driver is a safer driver.
Naturally it is fitted with He-Man Dual Controls, ABS, Power steering, Air-con (very important for your comfort on those hot days) and unusually for training vehicles - all round Airbags.
Time flies - have I really been training in this car for over 2 years? It has been a brilliant car but time for a change. Perhaps something different? Now that would be stupid! So its business as usual in the latest model. Look out for the new colour - 'Midnight Sky'.
